Getting there
The direct Intercity from Amsterdam Centraal takes about fifty minutes and runs roughly every half hour; with a change at Utrecht there is a train every fifteen minutes or so. A second-class single was about €13–15 when checked in September 2026.
Get off at Gouda (not Gouda Goverwelle). The Markt is a ten-minute walk; everything worth seeing is within five minutes of the square.
